KNIGHT WALL
THERMALLY ISOLATED, ENGINEERED SUB-FRAMING SYSTEMS FOR VIRTUALLY ANY CLADDING MATERIAL.
Rainscreens provide limitless design options for building façades while controlling moisture and reducing energy consumption. Knight Wall Systems manufactures versatile, ventilated rainscreen attachment systems that accommodate an expansive array of cladding options including; ACM, Fiber Cement, Metal Plate, Porcelain, HPL, Terracotta, Stucco and Wood Composite.
SYSTEMS & APPLICATIONS
KNIGHT WALL CI & HCI SYSTEM
"CI" Systems
Knight Wall HCI and CI Systems are designed and tested to meet the requirements of "Continuous Insulation" as defined in ASHRAE 90.1: “Insulation that is uncompressed and continuous across all structural members without thermal bridges other than fasteners and service openings. It is installed on the interior, exterior, or is integral to any opaque surface of the building envelope.” Both rigid and certain semi-rigid insulation materials can be used with the CI and HCI systems.
KNIGHT WALL MFI SYSTEM
Adjustable Bracket Systems
Knight Wall MFI systems are available in cavity depths up to 12". The MFI "Dynamic" System is adjusted at the head of the bracket while the MFI "Static" System is adjusted with interlocking shims behind the bracket. Made primarily from non-combustible, ZAM-coated steel, MFI out-performs most bracket systems on the market with effective thermal performance of up to 96%. Knight Wall MFI is a go-to choice whether you're looking to meet code minimum or demanding Passive House standards.
KNIGHT WALL THERMAZEE
Thermally Isolated Zee Girt
The Knight ThermaZee™ gives installers and designers the simplicity of what they know: Z-furring; with what they need: code compliant thermal performance. Non-combustible structure with reduced thermal bridging rivaling
modern thermally-isolated clip and rail systems, the economical, thermally improved ThermaZee dramatically
increases the rainscreen wall assemblies performance.
KNIGHT WALL PANELRAIL
Secondary Layer for Rainscreen Cladding
PanelRail can be employed as a second layer of rails to help accommodate different panel layouts and sizes to add depth, and can also be used in assemblies not requiring exterior insulation, where rails are installed directly over the substrate (steel studs with gypsum sheathing, wood studs with sheathing, CMU, etc.), enabling increased air flow behind the cladding while allowing water to drain efficiently. Available in black or mill finish.
